We practice what we preach. We have personal stakes in the outcomes. Our investments span individual, IRA, and 401k accounts. Our goal is to avoid losses and maximize market profits.

Swing Trading

Our strategy centers on swing trading. This short-term trading approach involves holding stocks for several days to weeks. We're convinced that swing trading, when executed correctly, offers more profit opportunities and lower profit loss risks compared to the long-term 'set and forget' trading style. Markets fluctuate sharply throughout the year, and swing trading lets us leverage the cyclical nature of the overall market as well as the volatile movements of individual stocks during earnings seasons and dividend distributions.

Our Method

  • We focus on trading stocks and sometimes index funds—no options, futures, or commodities.
  • We avoid short selling stocks. During market downturns, we may remain inactive or opt for inverse index funds.
  • Our trades are with mid and large-cap stocks listed on US markets, specifically those within the S&P 500 index. Most will be familiar choices. 
  • We purchase stocks exhibiting positive momentum and sound fundamentals. We avoid speculation and assumptions, acting only upon clear movement. 
  • Each of our trade represents 1/4 of our portfolio. Thus, when we are fully invested, we would have four stock holdings of roughly equal values. 
  • When momentum wanes, we promptly sell our holdings. We don't hesitate, knowing other stocks are gaining momentum. 

The Magic of 1 Percent 

Our primary aim is to earn an average of 1% profit daily in our portfolio. Achieving this modest goal delights us. While it may seem insignificant to some, the impact is substantial. A daily 1% profit means your investment doubles every 70 days. With approximately 250 trading days in the US markets, the potential is astounding!
